The weaving of our spiritual practice into our physical practice invokes a greater number of human senses and multiple learning styles. This synergistic combination gives us multiple benefits allowing us the opportunity of a much richer life.
GoalYoga™ weaves our spiritual yoga practice and our physical practice into one. This integration provides for a deeper understanding, a richer personal experience and a better retention of our learning experience. It creates a higher level learning technique involving multiple senses.
Why we get a:
- deeper understanding
- richer personal experience
- better learning retention
7 Learning Styles
There are basically 7 learning styles people use to learn. All of us use a combination of these styles with some being more dominate than others. Engaging multiple learning styles can enhance our learning and experience resulting in a deeper understanding, a richer experience and a better retention of our yoga.
The 7 Learning Styles
Visual Auditory-musical
Verbal (linguistic)
Physical (kinesthetic)
Logical (mathematical)
Aural (sound, music, rhythms)
Social (interpersonal)
Solitary (intrapersonal)
Using the spiritual and physical together creates multiple associations in our brain that are harder to forget. It also creates a series of “pattern interrupts” which helps us stay in the present moment for a longer period of time. Using more senses during our learning experience can result in a greater retention of our learning.
